getting back on the horse

Joining in with {tinniegirl}{sunday snippets} is a good way to get back on the blogging horse, post holiday. I am busy with making things, and want to do the holiday justice when I have time, but by then it might be a distant memory......

The past week has involved trips to the beach, trips to town, enjoying sunrises again with daylight savings I'm awake in time, supermarket carparking, Friday night at port waiting for fish'n'chips and watching beans growing. Along with lots of other stuff I never took photos of! I find that instagram is an easy substitute for blogging.

There I did it, didn't want to go over a month without a post, phew! Now for the next one, getting back on the blogging horse isn't easy sometimes. Tell me how you get back on when you've slipped off.

  1. It is hard sometimes to get back on the blogging horse. I try to take a lot of photos and do most of the work on the weekends then it makes it easy to write posts during the week. But sometimes I just am not feeling creative and that makes it so much harder!

    Glad you're back :)

  2. welcome back! The bush in a car is a crack up! I'm honestly not sure I'm back on the old blogging horse, but i find that not filtering ideas, just writing the first thing that comes in my head is the best strategy overall x

    1. Thanks Max! You have more of an excuse than I do! It is hard when life gets busier than normal (what is normal anyway?!) and I definitely think too much and act to little - sign of a true procrastinator!! S:)

    1. The old car, a Triumph Herald, is great, we drive by it on the way to a beach. The plants started off much smaller when it was first "planted" there! S:)

  4. It's nice to see you back and hope you had a great holiday. It's difficult to blog with lots of other things going on, you sound so busy! Is there a story behind the car?

    1. Thanks Sarah, yes too much going on! The car, is parked in a layby on the way to the beach at Rabbit Island. Driven past it hundreds of times and finally stopped and took photo as my son was geo-caching! S:)
